Somatics & movement is about coming back into your body… gently, honestly, and with compassion.
It’s a practice of listening. A practice of noticing what your body has been holding. A practice of moving in a way that helps you feel safe again.

This page includes our movement-based classes.. including (but not limited to) somatic movement, Ritmo Sagrado, Tai Chi, and other body-based practices. As our schedule evolves, this page stays current by gathering any movement-focused offerings designed to support regulation and embodiment.

What is somatics?

Somatics is a body-based approach to healing and wellbeing that focuses on sensation, awareness, breath, and gentle movement.
Instead of pushing through, somatic practices help you slow down, notice what’s present, and reconnect with your body’s wisdom.

How movement supports the nervous system

Stress doesn’t just live in the mind… it lives in the body. Body-based movement helps regulate the nervous system by allowing your system to complete stress cycles and return to a calmer baseline.

When movement is breath-led, paced, and intentional, it can create safety, ease tension, and build self-trust from the inside out.
